Checking in….
Hey everyone, few updates I thought I’d share… My final deadline at uni this year is on Thursday so I’ve not had much time to post anything new, but…. There is some progress! I had a bit of interest a couple months back about the cover I did for a brief at uni for One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest book. I took a more of a personal approach to the narrative character in that the whole thing was Native American themed.
Anyway, I’ve been in serious talks throughout the past couple of weeks and I’m now in the middle of creating a whole range of Native American inspired designs for a small clothing company. I’m developing a few of them into multiple coloured poster designs for my portfolio but the company preferably want to keep the designs to one colour so they can work more of an interesting palette via the garments. It’s pretty exciting, haven’t done something like this in a while so it’s nice to know people could be wearing my designs again by the end of the year.
Can’t give away too much yet but those of you who have me on Facebook will have noticed a few developments. For now I can share a few of the very initial scribbly stages :

It’s been pretty fun drawing a load of axes and such so far. The digital progression is a lot stronger than my drawings though, trust me! Check back for an update soon – I’m feeling really positive about this one.
When is an update expected? Looks pretty interesting.
