Ready for my interview Mr Demille…
Who ever said you had to overcomplicate things? I’m hoping those on the receiving end of my CV and business card will agree with that statement…
I’M OFF TO LONDON! Tomorrow I start this month’s weeklong adventure in our glorious capital city. I’ve not actually been anywhere in London on my own yet besides Heathrow… but that doesn’t really count, right? I can’t wait.
I’ve been invited down to see a couple studios and meet some teams within the graphic design industry. So, to go alongside my business cards (which were professionally done at Moo.com), I’ve printed and duplexed my CV from home to match and have to say I’m pretty chuffed with the outcome. Not really sure if it was necessary but it can’t do any harm having one at hand for them to put on file.
I’m all packed up and pretty much set for my train tomorrow. Camera at the ready, I’ll try my best to get some interesting shots. Wish me luck! Expect a much more interesting follow up, check back to see what I’ve been up to!

How did you duplex your resume from home? The effect looks great.
Thank you Emma, the duplexing was simple, the printing was the hard part. Once my prints had turned out acceptable (basic inkjet onto white card), I used spray mount to stick them onto black card.
That’s actually really clever. I wish I’d thought of that.
Well now you know haha I think I’m gonna try it out again next year. Might be good to experiment with this idea / different materials for business card concepts etc.
