“What’s more exciting, a nervous breakdown or sitting at home ‘trying’ to stay creative?”
I’ve been so sloppy with blog posts this past month! These few weeks have been ridiculously hectic but it’s all about to pay off. I left a beautiful day in the North East yesterday for an even better one in London. Sun has been shining ever since and tomorrow I start my first day of placement in a top London graphic design studio.
I’ll be working here in London through the entire 2012 Olympics as well as the Paralympics, so far it feels no busier than usual but hey ho, we’ll see how this first week goes, don’t wanna speak too soon! I’m excited and nervous and seriously hoping I don’t suffer any creative block.
I’ll be spending 4 weeks at Rose before taking a few days out to check out Notting Hill Carnival and then off to the next placement in East London for a couple weeks. It’s gonna be a crazy month or so, followed by hopefully 2 weeks down time before starting my final year at Nottingham Trent University.
This was a very quick post, hopefully I can check in again soon with an update on my first week! Exciting stuff, check back to see how I get on!?
A side mission of my stay is getting this here people hating cat to let me stroke him. A very difficult task at hand.
